Aviator legality in Nigeria is now a state question, not a federal one
The 2024 Supreme Court ruling voided the federal Lottery Act as applied to states and made gambling regulation a state matter. Every affiliate still citing the 2005 Act as settled national law is working from a position that no longer holds.

What it means in practice
- There is no single national answer any more, which is the most important thing to understand.
- Lagos has its own established regime; other states differ, and some have no framework at all.
- An operator licensed in one state is not automatically licensed in yours.

- Check whether that authority covers the state you are in.
- Treat any operator claiming a single national licence with scepticism.

What legality does not change
A licence gives you a regulator to complain to and audited game fairness. It does not change the maths. Aviator returns 97% at a licensed operator and 97% at an unlicensed one, so licensing protects you from being cheated beyond the published edge, not from the edge itself.
